Aran is an Illustrator and Animation Director from Ireland who has worked in New York for 13 years.

He has created commercials, editorial illustrations, a children's book, The Sledgehog, and an Irish homeware and lifestyle brand, Nah Dublin.

Aran has animated short films and music videos that have won awards from the Art Directors Club and Ciclope Awards Festival and have been screened at Pictoplasma. His work has also been acknowledged in Vimeo Staff picks, It’s Nice That, Creative Review, Motionographer, and OFFSET.

He's worked for Vans, NYT, Etsy, Google, Chobani, MTV and many more. Before going out on his own, Aran was an Animation Director at The Mill NY where he lead teams big and small on various projects starting from 2011-2018.

Aran was a judge at the New York Society of Illustrators 2023 for product design.

His work is character-driven and is animated frame by frame by hand. In his spare time, he focuses on figurative clay sculpture and painting.
